Privacy Policy
How True Blue Life Insurance collects, uses, and protects your information.
Effective date: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how True Blue Life Insurance Inc ("True Blue," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use truebluelife.com, request quotes, or communicate with our team. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you request a quote, complete a form, apply for coverage, or contact us, you may share your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, state of residence, health and lifestyle information relevant to life insurance, coverage preferences, and beneficiary details.
Information collected automatically. We receive standard technical data when you browse — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with our tools — via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
Information from other sources. During the application process we may receive information from insurance carriers, underwriting services, identity verification providers, and public or commercially available records used in insurance underwriting.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the quotes and comparisons you request;
- Prepare and submit applications to the carriers you choose;
- Communicate with you about your request by phone, email, or text message (see Section 4);
- Support you throughout underwriting and after your policy is issued;
- Improve our website, tools, and educational content;
- Meet insurance regulatory and other legal obligations;
- Prevent fraud and protect our services.
3. How We Share Your Information
We are an independent agency, and serving you sometimes means working with others. We share personal information only as needed to serve your request and run our business:
- Insurance carriers — to obtain quotes and process the applications you submit;
- Licensed partner agencies, brokers, and agents — if a product, carrier, or specialty outside our direct offering fits you better, we may refer your request, including your contact and quote details, to a licensed partner who can follow up and assist you;
- Affiliated companies and brands under common ownership with True Blue — so our family of companies can service your request;
- Service providers that help us run our business (hosting, analytics, communications platforms, e-signature and document tools), under confidentiality obligations and only for services performed for us;
- Legal and safety recipients — where required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public;
- Business transfers — if True Blue is part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer with the business, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. If any sharing described above is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under an applicable state privacy law, you may opt out at any time using the contact details in Section 12.
Your text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never part of any sharing described in this section. See Section 4.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
When you provide your mobile phone number on a form and consent to be contacted, True Blue may send you text messages at that number. These messages may include responses to your inquiries, quote follow-ups, application and policy status updates, appointment reminders, and occasional information about our services.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent. Rejoin any time by replying START.
- For help, reply HELP to any message, email info@truebluelife.com, or call (866) 816-2100.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. The partner sharing described in Section 3 is done to deliver the service you requested and never includes your text messaging opt-in data or consent.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Phone and Email Communications
By submitting a form on this site, you consent to be contacted by a licensed True Blue agent by phone, email, or text message about your request. Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping; where the law requires, you will be notified on the call. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email and ask us to stop calling at any time.
6. How Insurance Carriers Use Your Information
Carriers use the information in your application for underwriting — determining eligibility and pricing. They may verify details through third-party sources such as medical information bureaus, prescription histories, motor vehicle records, and identity verification services, under their own privacy policies. Review the privacy notice of any carrier you apply with.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your progress, measure performance, and understand what content helps visitors. We use analytics services and may use advertising platforms that rely on cookies or pixels to measure campaigns and present relevant ads. You can manage cookies in your browser and limit ad personalization in your device or ad-platform settings. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out signals.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise these rights, email info@truebluelife.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or call (866) 816-2100. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You can always:
- Reply STOP to end text messages;
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email;
- Ask us to stop calling you;
- Ask us to delete or correct your information.
9. Data Security and Retention
We protect your information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and security requirements for our vendors. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy insurance record-keeping and legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 (children may appear in applications only as beneficiary details provided by an adult). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
Links to carriers and other resources lead to sites with their own privacy practices. This policy covers only True Blue.
